Pumped-storage hydroelectricity where glaciers have melted

According to a recent study by ETHZ and WSL institut ( https://www.wsl.ch/en/news/2019/11/glacier-basins-as-reservoirs.html ), deglacierised areas (areas where there are no glaciers anymore due to melting of ice) could be utilized to build new dams for pumped-storage hydroelectricity. In Switzerland, this could represent up to 10% of the current electricity consumption.

Additionnaly, the areas that were before covered by ice (and that are now free) could be ideal as low biodiversity is present, and thus the construction of a dam would no damaged existing ecosystems.
